1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to Guapee mobile apps, websites, public card pages, organization workspaces, verification, subscriptions, notifications, and related services.

This policy does not apply to third-party websites, platforms, or services. When you use Apple, Google, payment channels, identity verification providers, or other third-party services, you should also review their privacy policies.

2. Information We Collect

  • Account information: name, email address, phone number, avatar, language, sign-in method, account status, and security settings.
  • Card and profile information: role, company, bio, location, contact details, social links, public card links, QR codes, or shared materials.
  • Contacts and interactions: contacts you save, import, add, or interact with, plus messages, favorites, shares, views, saves, and related usage records.
  • Verification and trust signals: email or phone verification status, identity or business verification status, organization relationships, profile completeness, interaction quality, risk results, and trust state displays.
  • Subscription and transaction status: subscription plan, entitlements, purchase channel, payment status, renewal status, refund status, and platform transaction identifiers. We generally do not directly store full card numbers or payment account passwords.
  • Device and logs: device model, operating system version, app version, IP address, network status, crash logs, performance logs, security events, and diagnostic information.
  • Information you provide voluntarily: feedback, support emails, appeal materials, surveys, testing feedback, or other information you send to us.

3. How We Use Information

  • Create and maintain accounts, and provide sign-in, sync, backup, security verification, and account recovery.
  • Create, display, share, and save digital cards, including multilingual cards, organization cards, public pages, and contact management.
  • Calculate, explain, and display trust scores, trust states, verification results, recommended improvement paths, and risk notices.
  • Process subscriptions, entitlements, billing status, payment channel callbacks, and support requests.
  • Send service notifications, security alerts, product updates, transaction or subscription messages. Marketing messages will include opt-out options where required by law.
  • Analyze service usage, fix issues, and improve performance, security, anti-abuse systems, and user experience.
  • Comply with law, platform policies, dispute handling, audits, regulatory requirements, and protect the rights of users, Guapee, or the public.

4. Public Cards and Visibility

When you publish or share a public card, public fields on that card may be viewed, saved to contacts, screenshotted, forwarded, or accessed again through search, QR codes, or other methods.

You can adjust public content, contact details, organization information, and visibility settings within the options provided by the product. Some basic information may be necessary for a public card to function.

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as needed to provide the service, complete actions you initiate, comply with law, or protect legitimate rights and interests.

  • With visitors, contacts, organization members, or administrators when you choose to share a card, contact details, or organization identity.
  • With infrastructure, cloud, notification, email, analytics, error monitoring, authentication, payment, subscription management, customer support, and security providers as necessary.
  • With Apple, Google, RevenueCat, Firebase, identity verification providers, or payment channels as needed for sign-in, verification, subscriptions, notifications, or app distribution.
  • In connection with mergers, acquisitions, financing, asset transfers, or similar transactions, subject to reasonable protection by the recipient.
  • When required by laws, courts, regulators, platform review processes, or lawful requests.

6. Third-Party Sign-In, Verification, and Payments

When you use Apple, Google, or another third-party sign-in method, we receive the account identifier, email, name, avatar, or other information provided by that service depending on the scope you authorize.

When you start identity or business verification, verification materials may be processed by third-party verification providers. We may store verification status, results, timestamps, reference identifiers, and necessary review records, but we may not directly store all original materials.

When you purchase a subscription, transactions are generally processed by App Store, Google Play, RevenueCat, or other payment services. We receive transaction status necessary to unlock entitlements, sync subscriptions, and handle support questions.

7. Permissions

  • Camera and photos: used to upload avatars, scan QR codes, add materials, or create card content.
  • Contacts: used to save contacts, import contacts, or improve contact management. We use this data after system authorization and only as needed for the feature.
  • Notifications: used for security, messages, contacts, subscriptions, and service status alerts.
  • Location or region: used to display the location you enter, improve localization, or complete relevant verification flows. Unless required by a feature, we do not continuously track precise location.

8. Retention and Deletion

We retain information for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy. Retention periods may depend on account status, public card status, subscription and transaction records, verification records, security audits, dispute handling, legal requirements, and backup cycles.

You may edit or delete certain information in the product. You may also request access, correction, deletion, export, or restriction of processing by contacting support@guapee.com. We will process requests after verifying your identity and in accordance with applicable law.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including access controls, encrypted transmission, logging, permission separation, security monitoring, and least-privilege access.

No internet service can be absolutely secure. If a data security incident may affect your rights, we will notify you or regulators as required by applicable law.

10. International Processing

Guapee may use cloud providers, verification providers, payment services, analytics services, and operations teams located in different countries or regions. Your information may therefore be processed outside your region. We will take reasonable safeguards where required by applicable law.

11. Children

Guapee is designed for business identity and professional networking contexts and is not intended for users under 16. If we learn that a minor has provided personal information without required guardian consent, we will delete the relevant information where reasonably practicable.

12. Your Choices and Rights

  • You can update account details, card content, public fields, and certain visibility settings.
  • You can manage camera, photo, contacts, notifications, and similar permissions through system settings.
  • You can cancel subscriptions, delete certain content, leave organizations, or request account deletion.
  • Depending on applicable law in your region, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict processing, port data, withdraw consent, object to certain processing, or file a complaint.

13. Updates and Contact
